Thirty two members of the Westlake Women's Club participated in a project for the homeless of the Conejo Valley. Eighty bags were packed with items of personal hygiene and socks. Four of our Club members delivered these items to Westminster Presbyterian Church, one of the 37 churches in the area who provide shelter, food and services for the over 250 homeless in the Conejo Valley. This project is under the direction of Anu Goyal, the Westlake Women’s Club Homeless Chairman.
The needed sundry items were distributed by joining forces with the Harbor House volunteers - who provide meals for the homeless at various church sites in the Conejo Valley.
